As I recall that's all that you were doing when you met up with us. Well that and trying to tackle people who were actually rock climbing. Just an observation I made.Andrew wrote:Nothing like a hot dog and beer mid day of bouldering

That's weird b/c hp40 mike kept telling me about this guy from cinci who 8 ft tall and couldn't send bumboy, he said he could damn near reach the basketball sized slopers from the ground but still no dice.Andrew wrote:Don't forget sending soaking wet V8

That problem is so easy. I can reach the good sloper from the good undercling thing. Suck it nerds.

is the camping free? do you need a permit?dustonian wrote:LRC is awesome. Decent camping at the T-Wall parking lot, but crowded on weekends.

HP40 is awesome. I think I like it a little better than LRC just b/c of the scenery/history. However, I did get a flapper on the second route we got on! The friction is nothing short of amazing, we got there at about 11:30 pm checked in and headed over to the boulders in a light rain. Some problems felt wet but still had great friction. It blew my freaking mind!

Yeah we kept hearing about Rocktown at HP40. It's kind of weird how you are an experienced Rock Climber then go bouldering and feel like a total gumby.dustonian wrote:Rocktown is better than both IMO. Yeah the camping is free at T-wall, no permit needed, but you do need one now for Rocktown.
