Climbing in Australia

Post by bweezy »

I'm "Studying Abroad" in Sydney from Feb to the end of June. Anybody been over there? Any favorite routes, crags, deep water solos?
I'm trying to plan a trip to Thailand, so any advice on that is also welcome.

Thanks

People that climb at the rrg do not leave the area. Have you not read the post by the people on this site?

the blue mountains are supposed to be pretty good and relatively close to Sydney. Mount Arapalise (sp?) is also supposed to be really good although it's not close to Sydney
Sand inhibits the production of toughtosterone, so get it out and send.

Yeah, I have noticed that. I was hoping one or two of you had been dragged on a family vacation and had managed to sneak off to do some climbing.

I will definitely check out the Blue Mts.
