There was a nut left on Father and Son late last fall. Haven't been back to see if it's been recovered? If it has, would love to hear the condition it was in. When I saw it, it appeared as though it had been pounded into the rock and become one with it.

Not much to get too excited about but I left a brand new medium size wired hex and a Petzl sling (60cm Fin Annue or however it's spelled) that has only seen a day of use to back up the single rap ring on Rock Wars. Didn't have enough gear to make it to the double chains above. Give em a good home. That sling is the shiznit for extendable draws. I honestly couldn't care less about the hex.

Not enough gear? Couldn't you have just lowered off the anchor you already left behind, grabbed more gear, and finished the thing?

Besides that last 20 feet is some of the best climbing! and I think you only needed a single 1 and 2 to sew it up...

No worries. Cost more to drive back than the gear is worth. Still up for grabs.

Ah I know all about this. In over 15 years of climbing and 35 cams later I have only lost one cam. My partner on the other hand has lost 5 of my cams in the last 3 years. The last one he dropped off of nevermore never to be seen again.

Time for a new partner I'd say unless he's replacing what he's losing. If this is the case, I'd like to climb with him since I've got some older cams that should be replaced.

He does what he has to, and makes it rite!! We just do a lot of sport climbing now. And he wonders why I don't bring my rack much anymore.

Today was an epic booty day - 2 nearly spanking new quickdraws! The first was the most unusual booty encounter - 50 feet up in a tree! Strange place to leave a draw, I'll take much better care of it. The other should have just been a bail biner, but they obviously left me the whole draw to make my day :D
I've been a gumby longer than you've been climbing.
