Re: Finger Fucked
What happened to the finger babies post? That was the most informative post I have seen on here lately and totally on topic
Re: Finger Fucked
Shamis,a real injury! They do happen, and not from reading webmd. Good luck with the recovery. Remember, less climbing leaves more time for banging.
Re: Finger Fucked
Shamis, wondering if what happened to your finger might be similar to what I just experienced?
There was nothing specific that happened, no pop, pain, etc but Sunday morning I woke up and noticed when I close my left hand the base of my ring finger feels cold/numb. Almost like there's Icy Hot or Ben Gay on it.
Doesn't have to be a tight fist, just while going from open hand to closed. Also, there is no swelling.
Read about the main nerve that runs the length of your arm and how it can affect the little and ring fingers. Wondering if I may have slept with my arm in a screwed up position, and this might clear up quickly?
Just wondering if you had similar simptoms with your A3?

Re: Finger Fucked
nope. When I hurt my finger there was a loud audible crack and immediate pain.
Sounds like you're having mild carpel tunnel symptoms. Go buy a cheap wrist brace and sleep with it on for a few days. If you work on a computer, buy a nice gel wrist pad.
