post xmas partner through ~ Jan 2nd

Hi, everybody. I'm a UC graduate student, and I'm looking for an RRG partner for about the 27th through jan 2nd.

I've been climbing four and a half years and have a semi-consistent 11a/b onsight ability (10b/c for trad). I'd prefer sport climbing. After being on the crappy end of an accident last February, I'm not so keen on random partners. I've climbed with Andrew and his dad, so they can vouch for me. If you can at least have any kind of voucher, then I'll probably be satisfied. I don't mean to sound like an ass, but I'm not exactly looking to take out a beginner. I don't mind climbing with beginners, I just wouldn't feel comfortable climbing at my limit with one that I've never observed belaying somebody else.

I'll go to most any crag that will get any sunshine that the comsos decide to give us! And I could potentially be talked into a shady area on a warmer day

I'd considered posting a retort, but then I realized I'd confirm your suspicion. Heh. You're right though: If I can't trust the person I'm climbing with, I can't enjoy climbing.

This is where I usually try to be an ass but instead I will just vouch for you. Solid belayer, climber, and human being. Granted this is coming from me. Maybe you should get my dad to vouch for you.
