I wish. But even if I could bail on work and drive the 4 hours ea way, I have these damn things called kids that get in the way of my climbing fun. You just wait Dustin... You won't be a student forever.
Re: LK Day should weigh in
You're right, I'll be a bum again in only 3-1/2 short years.
Re: LK Day should weigh in
You guys are deluding yourselves if you think the difference between a republican and a democrat actually matters anymore. Clinton, Bush, Obama, McCain, they're all in the pockets of big businesses. Want change? Demand political transparency. If I vote for someone- I want to know who the puppet-master behind them is.

Ha ha, such a kidder. your days of dirt bagging are done.
Re: LK Day should weigh in
Nik - As for your laundry list of "War on Terror" horrors, there has been precious little real difference between Bush and Obama on those issues. But if it is the Commerce Clause that gives the government the power to make one buy health insurance, then there's pretty much nothing that it doesn't give them the power to force you to do.
Re: LK Day should weigh in
agreed, there has been little difference and i am upset by a lot that obama has done (including maintaining a lot of bush-era policies). my only point was that i wouldn't say obama's administration is easily the most corrupt of them all. as crazyhair (and others) has argued, they're all pretty bad -- democrat, republican, independent, or libertarian. only solution i see is to "get the money out of politics" however in the hell that's supposed to happen. then, perhaps, we would be able to see if guiding ideologies really make a difference in terms of governing morality. until then, we'll never know, and policy will go to the highest bidder.LK Day wrote:Nik - As for your laundry list of "War on Terror" horrors, there has been precious little real difference between Bush and Obama on those issues. What liberties has this administration attacked?LK Day wrote:Oh, it's not the inside deals that makes this the administration the most corrupt. It's their out and out assault on liberty that earns them that distinction.
There is that sopa internet thing which is REALLY BAD...and whatever that new bill is that supposedly allows detaining us citizens without a ttrial....but you could argue thar the patriot act already did that. However, i don't really see obama supporting either of thise bills and I'll put full blame on congress for those...
I still am curious wht liberties obamahas infringed upon that bush didn't already do worse?

I'm praying that i get a chance to vote for ron paul in the general election. Luckily I'm an atheist so i won't be too upset when my prayers are inevitably Ignored.
