Re: Volunteers Needed for Muir
Nobody likes that McShane -- He's bad news (just kidding -- he has graciously caught me on many climbs at Muir).
Thanksgiving weekend is a pretty rough time schedule-wise. If there's a second weekend to assist please post details

Re: Volunteers Needed for Muir
I'm sorry, I had the date wrong in my original post. It should have been November 26, instead of 25th, which puts the work day on Saturday.
I realize travel and family plans will make it difficult for some people to volunteer during Thanksgiving weekend, but there will be other volunteer opportunities. A work day is schedule for Thanksgiving weekend, because part of the work needs to be done after the crowds at Muir die down (so we can have access to the parking lot), but before the cold weather hits so the ground isn't frozen.
You are correct, Adam. Isaac McShane is a good belayer--safe and conscientious. In fact he is going to be taking the class for his AMGA SPI this weekend.

Re: Volunteers Needed for Muir
Thanks to the great crew who worked so hard on such a beautiful climbing day Saturday. Nearly 1,000 square yards of Geotextile installed and 227 ton (nine tri-axle truckloads) of crushed stone spread mostly by hand, in the new MV overflow parking lot.
Re: Volunteers Needed for Muir
I just want to thank the Webers for their hard work and the volunteers who helped. I wish I could have made it.
