Forearm flexor

Post by Cleveland »

Has anyone used one of these for training purposes? I'm thinking of buying one but wasn't sure if it was worth it. Any help is appreciated.

this ---> http://www.amazon.com/Altus-Forearm-Fle ... B0055QDMTK

just look at the movement and ask yourself if it mimics a climbing movement. for example, do you need to do a loaded wrist curl on your project? the likely answer is no.

if you want to hypertrophy your guns i'd suggest weighted dead hangs and heavy finger rolls.

Buy some PVC, grip tape and do Margarita's hanging work out. Way better use of your time.

Hey Cleveland! Just get a hangboard and do fingertip hangs from the small ledges ;-)

Sometimes when I rock climb my forearms get really worked out. I like to do that for a good workout. It really helps me when I go rock climbing in my spare time.
