Karma Ratings

Post by goodguy »

Is anyone else interested in a Karma Rating system for board users? Have a button that can be clicked, Positive or Negative so that as users post other users can click positive or negative and we can all see who has the good Karma versus the ones that are always getting negative votes.

Just something fun.
Oh man, he is messing that up. However, he is missing his left leg so that way would probably be harder for him. SCIN, just before spraying some beta for a climber doing a route the WRONG way.

I think it would be a good idea, but. Does this site have a large enough active community? I know there are a lot of people who lurk on this site. But I only see a few new threads a day get started. Karma systems are supposed to help users filter through "interesting" content. It's not hard to keep up with what's going on by simply watching the "latest posts" feed.

Do you think karma would attract the lurkers to become more active? is that a good thing, or bad thing?

Do we only get one vote per person? because there may come a time when piggy says something of value and I'd like to be able to credit him if and when that happens.
