Rest Day Activities
Rest Day Activities
Sorry if this is posted somewhere else but my searches have not come up with anything useful. What are some good rest day activites besides browsing the internet at Miguels? I'd be into some hiking, trail running, sight seeing, etc... Maybe even some golf or amusement parks? I'm considering checking out Mammoth Caves NP but it seems like a kind of long drive... maybe it's worth it though? Any locals or frequent RRGers have suggestions? Thanks.

There are a couple places that you could go trail riding.
Re: Rest Day Activities
There are plenty of places to hike and trail run of course. If you ride bikes it would be a good area to road bike. There is paintball nearby which could offer some fun. However, I would recommend for some real KY flavor to try some of the bourbon tours and maybe checking out keeneland racetrack in lexington (probably one of the best sight-seeing opportunities in KY).
