J.H. - Why should anyone join the RRGCC? Because it beats the alternatives. Given that the leading alternative is auto-digital-rectal examination*, the choice is pretty clear to me.
(* Please note that for those suffering from crainial-rectal impaction, the insertion of the digit may be very difficult. But then, everything is difficult for people suffering from this condition.)
a few Questions for the RRGCC

As someone new to access issues, it is very clear that the rrgcc needs more support, & more members.
Is JH for real?
Is he wanting to join the rrgcc?
What will JH bring to the rrgcc?
What will each and every single member of the rrgcc bring?
Those questions do not need to be answered on this forum, but they ought to be asked time and again to make sure that we are joining for all the 'right' reasons.

TK-Seems I misinterpreted your use of wilderness. You were referring to Designated Wilderness Areas, a term that I wasn't too familiar with. Most of the climbing I've done at the more common climbing areas in the Red is lacking in the whole wilderness experience. Which is what I thought you were referring to.
Never mess with a local!

TK, regarding the AF:
I am not an authority on their current bolting policy.
But I do know what the AF has done for the Red River Gorge:
They gave us a $10,000 grant to cut the two trails that lead to Left Flank & Military Wall. This project alone was a very successful impact on the relationship with the DBNF and the Stanton Ranger District.
We are currently in the process of obtaining a Grant from the AF that will be applied towards the purchase of the Murray Property. The exactly dollar amount is yet to be determined but we are hoping for at least $20,000 from the Grant.
The AF and their staff are always willing to share their experience & information with us as needed and have been a cooperative support of the RRGCC's efforts over the years.
I hope that answers some of your questions.
THANK YOU too all of you that have given the RRGCC so much support, it really means a lot to a bunch of dedicated volunteers!
Sincerely,

Just genuinely disengenuous.

That's no joke man. Right out of high school I had a summer job working as an orderly at a local hospital. I was working in and around the emergency room one day when an hysterical woman broke through to the interior emergency department. Apparently, this woman had visited the ER a couple times earlier in the day, trying to get treatment for an impaction. Well, by this time the woman was completely nuts. She had lost all sense of dignity and decorum. She was dressed really well and wore expensive looking jewelry. She didn't give a shit, figuratively speaking, about all that stuff now. She broke past a couple of nurses and somehow spotted me, of course. She ran up to me, flopped herself over an EKG machine, and screamed, "DIG IT OUT!!", "DIG IT OUT!!. Naturally, I was quite taken a back bye this vulgar display and replied, "Get the fuck away from me lady!" The doctors and nurses thought this hilarious.
