Hey!

Post by the lurkist »

My good friend and probably my first climbing partner (maybe next to the Lander) is in town and wants to climb.
We did Cavers together in 1980-81.
I can't go tomorrow. Is anyone who is cool, not a tool, can belay, and wants to climb with one of the baddest dudes to ever climb in Washington State give him a call? His name is Nicola and he is okay by me.
give him a call.

when i was younger all you had to do was smoke cigarettes and make up stories about all the sex you were having. now... the Red River Cool League of Coolness requires a 2k word personal statement and a picture of you pissing on the Blarney Stone ($1k roundtrip ticket) to even be considered.

i'm not even sure being cool is worth it anymore.

sorry. you are probably cool enough. this is an understated self deprecating kind of cool.

the number is 646-823-5109.

Give Nicola a call.

Are you doing any climbing while in NY?

If there are people who are heading up to the northeast and would like to meet up at the gunks, let me know. We head up there from PA on a regular basis and would be happy to meet up with some of the folks from the gorge.

Have had the pleasure of meeting up with 2 groups of friends and was able to direct them to some of the better climbs.
