That is the whole point of having a gf... If the model becomes defective you can trade in for a new one, no penalty fees or questions asked. Wife's are "buy as is" and you always PAY more than it was ever worth in the first place just to get rid of it!

My clickup is working fine and no recall. Recalling a belay device is odd stuff. Has anyone heard of mishaps. How do I know that the next grigri2 that someone wants to catch me with is not on the recall list?

Doesn't matter to me, the ATC is way better anyway. Gris Gris are totally unsafe and should not be placed in the hands of a gumby
