Climbing on closed routes
Re: Climbing on closed routes
Thanks for clearing things up TCU, and rrgclimber, thanks for speaking up when you noticed something that appeared wrong. But next time, approach the person individually first before you call them out in public.

dear Captain Planet,
if you cared more about climbing and less about getting your virtual doo-goodery pat on the back, then you would have just dropped the 'offender' a PM telling him/her to 1) not climb on closed routes, or 2) to definitely not blab about it in public. but instead YOU went and blabbed about it in public. if you have a bone to pick and MUST let someone know you 'could have been Sheriff', then please do so in a less public forum. especially when it comes to sketchy access. especially now.
plus it was, like, duh, 100% obvious he was logging old ascents. nice. job.
i think from now on if you decide its time to bring down the hammer of justice just don't. assume you're wrong. it's safer for everyone that way. plus if you do nothing you'll get the positive side-result of having been right about something.

And on the third day, God created the Red River Gorge(by conjecture), and he saw that it was good.

HEY ok i made a mistake but nobody in this world is perfect. We all make mistakes if we can learn for them that makes a better person.Sorry about that tcu i should have pm you before i called u out.Just with everything going on here in the red just makes u wonder if people are climbing on closed routes.Thats all we need is other crags closed because of new climbers or just climbers that dont care doing what they want.
