Rain, Rain...

Post by climb2core »

Go away.

Sick of picking my crags based upon rain... Problem is gf climbs 10ish. Can you guys tell me about a new secret crag that has both 9/10's and 12's that stay dry??? Just tired of doing the same ones over and over again...

Roadside fits the bill, pretty sure you've never been there.

One option might be Playground / Shady Grove combo.

one more month and you'll have to start picking the crag based on shade

That will be a welcomed change... believe me. Much easier to chase the shade than hide from the rain when you are trying to find crags with ranges from 5.10 to 5.12...

Dry Crags: (that fit the bill)
Roadside
Drive-by
Sunnyside
Great Arch (if it hasn't rained day before...)

Can you name another? Never been to the Stadium... do those routes stay dry? Also, what about the two 10's at the Darkside?

Shade is way easier...

I have never been to the Playground... How far is the walk? Could you go back and forth between walls? I will probably want an hour rest between my burns at Shady anyways....
