I must commend you. I can hardly justify walking from the Sore Heel parking lot to climb at any of the Sore Heel climbing areas. Let alone parking that far away, walking to the parking lot, just to have to then walk to the crag. I'd just go somewhere else.

It was about 0.2 to 0.3 moles from the parking lot for drive by which is not the sore heel parking lot...

I got stuck today in quick sand. I pulled over to the side to let someone by and sank to the door seams. Some dude in a diesel monster truck pulled me out. Thanks bro.

Did anyone happen to see if the foot/mountain bike bridge was still there? If so, it's just about as fast to walk the new short-cut trail to sore heel as it is to drive. Right now I'm sure it is.
I'm not sure how much parking there would be along that part of the road, by the bridge, but for the time being, this might be an option.

My bad, didn't actually see that you went to Drive By.

foot bridge is there, def much faster and less elevation gain than following the road to the sore heel lot. Maybe 5 minutes.
