Hey, thats cool, you've gotta respect that. But then stand behind it and stop editting your post. Are you ashamed to have what you said posted for too long?J.H. wrote:Everything that I've said on this board I believe in. It's my opinion.

I think the word hippy was originally derived from the word hip:tebass wrote:Being a woman (oops! chick.....)born in 1960(yeah..i'm old) i find all of the young posters reference to hippies interesting...
characterized by a keen informed awareness of or involvement in the newest developments or styles
Regaurdless of the textbook definition, being a hippy woman(or chick if you will) from the 60's, do you really think that the word hippy has the same connotation today as it did back then. The name almost seems like a sports jersy number that should be retired. I think its stigma is fashion, but its importance went way beyond that, and its hard to seperate it from its environment in the 60's.
Though let me say, I think that "hippy chicks" of today are definetly sexy

I will repeat myself, because I take offense to the wrongfully stated rumors by JH (on a public forum - none-the-less):
I have never dropped anyone: not from a boat, nor from a plane, nor from biking, nor from scuba diving, nor from caving, nor from any other sports, and never. More often than not, I have actually placed my life on the line to help others, and have participated in numerous rescues. I am a certified medic diver instructor, and cannot imagine any one "wanting" to "cut a rope" or "wanting" to "drop" someone.
These comments are ridiculous, and of very poor taste. JH, you are way out of line.
The only place I know of that JH was dropped from was “my list of friends”. Therefore, not anchors, not the ground, and not in any other manners while climbing.

I mostly edit my post because of speeeeling errors. Not for content. The deal with the earlier thread (Southern Region) was that I was informed that big brother could be watching and I deleted all my posts. Some people followed my P/M request to do the same, some didn't.
I just hope at the end of it all, when you are on those painful crimps right before the "make or break" dyno, That you can pull this little pocket of hate that you keep in your heart for me, and lash out at that jug like you were reaching for my throat!!
