Why does the difficulty of the route matter? our overhung routes don't get rained on like the vert/slabby ones out west.

Yeah, and plenty of routes at Rifle, Maple, Smith, Malibu Canyon, and around Vegas are ticked up, not to mention a lot of boulder problems in Bishop. Not saying this is a good thing.

Tick marks are the equivalent of a mute person yelling beta at you as you climb. Maybe I sould just go around yelling beta to people as they climb. No difference.
