Not right now. And when (not if) I start selling of some gear, it will not be all of it, just thin the rack down a bit. Gear is still cool to have so you can do those boring trad routes on rest days.

Spragwa, I am deeply, deeply hurt by that remark. I am trying to bare my soul to you all, trying to help you poor people find the path to pure climbing. And you say something like that. Well, I just want you to know that I am sorry if you can't accept me for who I am, and if you don't want to be my friend anymore because I now hang out with the cool crowd, well, it will make me very sad. But I will understand and I will forgive you.

On the bright side, that odd cam you sold me,I used several times. It's reasuring for the the crux of Dog Days. It found a new home on my rack.

I am sorry your favorite thing is boring. But there is hope. The hope that I speak of is bouldering. You don't have to be bored anymore. No more left-right left-right. You can do fun and exciting problems, meet new people, and have a great time bouldering. All you have to do is let go of the rope that binds you, that brings you down, that prevents you from climbing pure. I can help, I will help if you want me to.

Wes, I stand by my statement. I still adore you and will be your friend...but I'm not buying a word of what you're saying. Can you say, smacking the bee's nest?

It is true. I am cutting the rope that is holding a brother down!! Pure climbing is the only way to go. Unless you are stuck with only the crappy route climbing that the red has to offer. Alas, there is not a really good world class bouderfield within a 3 hour drive. Until I can sell some gear and move to a real climbing area, I am afraid I will have to do some of that awful roped climbing stuff from time to time. But, I will be strong, and get through those tough times with my love of bouldering intact.

Wes, seems like your laziness and ADD has finally affecting your climbing. Its what 20 sec of effort on a problem followed by 2 hrs of 'recuperation' by checking out those hot climbing chicks. Er....wait...maybe that's not ADD...

Hey Gulliver, do you know that poor obsessive-compulsive person? Major gearaholic.
I try to be a good man but all that comes
of trying is I feel more guilty.
