the cedar bluffs he is talking about is near unlikely wall. there is really no climbing there. it is a nature preserve. dont waste your time!

yea the book doesn't give specific directions. it just says the Cedar Bluffs of Bloomington. It sounds like one of these folks has actually been there and could give you real directions.

if you guys think you got it bad in indiana try the Chicago land area. There are two boulders in all of Chicago and the suburbs.

One is a few blocks from where I live. They must of brought it down from devils lake and they carved a memorial plaque in it. it has a few lines on it but I can almost reach the top of it when i am standing up. and i am short.

the other one is out in arboretum in the suburbs. It is called large rock. At the parking area near it there is this huge display in a booth discussing how such a large rock ended up in the midwest and talks about how amazing it is. I was really excited about it the first time I was out there after reading about this magnificent massive stone. I ran the mile down the trail in eager anticipation. I rounded the bend and saw the gigantic rock. the only problem was that it only came up to my waist.

that is how sad it is in the chicago land area. they made a huge display about a rock that is maybe 3 feet high. PATHETIC!

and what was more pathetic....i climbed it anyway

MUSCATATUCK PARK DOES ROCK. Bottom line. It has the best bouldering in the state. And a killer indoor climbing wall.

I love the climbing wall! We have to have a party there this winter!! It would be a ton of fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am not Sure if Michael visits this site at all but I Know he had some info on climbing around the state. That dude climbs Anything and everything. Maybe I can get hin to reply to some of this
