Do you do it? Do you find it helpful for climbing?
What studios in Lex are good/bad?
What videos for home?
Having visited several studios in Lex I think the power, flexibility, core, balance and mental aspects should directly translate to climbing. Having said that I have not yet seen direct gains. But, I find it challenging and calming at the same time. Should be enough to keep it from getting boring.
My local experience so far.
Bikram on Southland- Hot yoga, pose to pose, no flows. Challenging physically, not calming mentally
Lexington Masssage and Yoga in Dudley Square - "Speedball" hot yoga, flow based, physically challenging, weird music
TMMK fitness Georgetown - flow based, calming, challenge level dependent on teacher (typically beginner level)
Video experience
P90x - Yoga X - flow based, challenging physically, a little cheesy

i got a whole thing for ya and with our height difference my guess is you wont need to develop anymore flexibility than you are naturally blessed with. not trying to sound weird, just always here to lend a hand or other as needed... we are talking toes right...

That's awesome Ray! Perhaps some of this would help further you along in the early stages of your practice:SCIN wrote:I finally was able to get the tip in my mouth today and I won't quit doing yoga until I manage the whole thing.

The theory of evolution is just as stupid as the theories of gravity and electromagnetism.
