time to climb and or rap

Post by imcshane85 »

I need to get out of town this weekend!!! Unfortunately, I have to meet my French professor at her house Sunday, so that ruins my long weekend. However, I could go Fri, camp, and climb all Sat, or leave Sunday evening, camp, and climb all Monday. Haven't climbed much (indoor) since December, but last week I was surprised my technique hadn't suffered as much as I figured. I can lead any 5.8, working on 5.9s. (sport)...although this year I yearn to switch to trad. I've climbed with better climbers than myself, and worse. I can lead belay, and don't mind patiently taking turns. All I ask is the ability to lead belay, and strong rope skills. (No noobs!) IF THE CRAGS AREN'T QUITE READY THIS WEEKEND, I'D BE HAPPY TO DO SOME RAPPING. Just anything to tie into a rope outdoors, man. I smell spring.

I can't make it out... but I know Pigsteak hasn't been climbing much and might be up for doing some rapping-send him a PM. Don't think the rock is going to be ready for climbing yet... probably still seeping.

Have fun and Rap one for me!!!

I guess after Odub, rapping and climbing together is the cool thing to do. Kind of like rapping and hacking: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9iUvuaChDEg

pigsteak your parable has got me perplexed. what's the underlying message? If we rap we will move to Beverly Hills and everything will be copacetic? enlighten me man!
@ climb2core I concur the crags are still seeping, but under the circumstances, I figure reckon is called for. counting down the days!

I think you'd be better off just hanging out with the French professor, ya lucky bastard.
efil lanrete... i enjoy the sound, but in truth i find this seductively backward idea to be quite frightening

"seeping rock"? What the hell are you guys rapping about?? Been outside much?

And what's up with the in-home with your French "professor"? Sounds naughty...

Dustslowian, I am sure most of the 5.8 slabs are seeping and rapping with a French professor sounds way more cool... ;)
