Re: Patent Help
I don't, but it might help if you include in full detail what you are wanting to patent. Any pictures and explanations would also be much appreciated

Re: Patent Help
I have several, but all of them have been processed by patent lawyers at work.
that being said, first do a patent search for previous IP.
Next go to the government patent office webpage and check the process. You should be able to proceed without a lawyer.
Document the invention IP, dates of invention and people involved, then state all of the claims (be as broad and as narrow as possible on the claims. these are really what protects the invention. The broad claims protect related inventions, and the narrow claims protect from minor variations)
Hope that helps a little

Re: Patent Help
I have had two inventions but neither of them took off like I thought they should. One was toast-on-a-stick (you know for busy people on the go and all) the other was cutting the backside out of boxer-shorts and making a thong for dudes - I called them "Thoxers." Neither one has made me any money yet.
Re: Patent Help
Ha ha, sounds like someone already stole your idea Michelle!
Seriously though, why would a "dude" want to wear a thong? Why does anyone want to wear a thong?

Re: Patent Help
yeah! just look at this guy:
Re: Patent Help
You don't actually have proof that that is a thong. It could be a pair of tighty blackies.

Trust me, it's a thong. He's my best friend.
