agreed on not working for so little..but then again, seems folks couldn't keep their houses, credit cards and lifestyles up to date even on the big wages...perhaps the problem is with the american consumer after all.

Could we subsidize companies who create manufacturing jobs so they can offer competitive wages? Better yet, let's just all stop shopping at fucking Wal-Mart where suppliers margins are cut down to pennies?

btw, I'm well aware that Wal-Mart is just the easy target. They all do it, but Wal-Mart is the worst of them.

So, that doesn't just go for the pig. I think we are all pretty much full of it. If I said something that was serious, you were reading it in the training forum. Everything else is just distraction from work.

When you start a global trade it will eventually bring everyone to the same level. That means people in the US will have to start living in thatch huts and people in India, China, etc. can move into a thatch hut of their own. We need to start Unions in China. Yeah, that is the ticket.

There is no turning back from the outsourcing. The economy will be global from here on out. All we can do is wait until the skilled workers in those countries start asking for more money, which might allow americans to compete again. Of course before the quality of life in those countries equals ours technology will have most likely removed so many jobs that half the work force will no longer be needed. Then capitalism dies, or the revolution begins.

So who makes a cam that has most of the same features as a BD cam but with better quality control and customer service (Domestic Manufacturing would be a plus)

uhhhh, no one? dragon cams are as close to C4's as your are going to get. the new totem cams are reportedly of decent quality but definitely very different than C4's.
