Sharp draw on Phantasia

Post by Corona »

Over the course of the year, I replaced a few bad perma draws and a few bad anchors, but somehow forgot to replace the worst draw I saw all year before I left. Due to the > shape of the route, it is not the first draw that receives the brunt of the wear and tear, but the first roof draw (I think it's the 4th bolt.) If anyone happens to get on it and it's still bad, please remove it. The perma draw on the first hanger can be rotated out to replace it if you don't feel like popping on your own extendable.

Thanks!

I removed it and replaced it with an Omega. Later I found out who the Omega belonged to and got it back to them. I also realized that only one of the biners on the removed draw was sharp, and so I ended up putting it back on and made it so the non-sharp side was used for the rope biner.

I made a topic warning people about the biner wear right where the slab and roof meet: http://www.redriverclimbing.com/viewtop ... 11&t=13521

Well now there ya go! :)

See and I didnt say anything negative did I Redpoint? Totally positive - so you can't say I'm a "hater" or anything like that because I said something positive. See? Sometimes people say positive things too. Just like I did to your response about replacing the draw. It wasn't a bit negative just all good vibes - now there ya go :)
