I can't get over the "upside down" vision thing..but they do offer crystal clear clarity. And I have no idea what the "Cave" capitalized is, but it must be dark in there. ;)

You need to try them before you judge. I think they are awesome. Most people that use them feel that they give a better belay as they are able to watch their partner much more consistently. Just takes some getting use to.
I love mine, I do a lot of trad with noobish types and these have alleviated a lot of that neck strain on those long belay sessions, though I do tend to look up when they are really shaky, it's scary to watch someone pop off the rock in the glasses for some reason(?)..."Objects in the mirror may fall closer than it appears..."

1. Proper names are OK to capitalize too. =)
2. I quickly tried on a pair of glasses once, and they give a pretty decent field of view and are quite clear. I would use them.... but not for $150!
3. I hope someone returns them!!
