Old rap anchors?

Post by ecp88 »

To the left of Flaring Crack in Purple Valley is a set of what I assume to be some old rap anchors for the two trad lines to the right. Just curious about this - we set up top rope and climbed the slab wall for kicks. No mention of it in the guidebooks.

I know exactly where you are talking about. I climbed the wide crack next to them 6 or8 years ago thinking it was a route. I never did find out what it was or who put it up.

I;m still hanging out at all the old crags, on occasion. When you getting back here to share a rope? We'll have to use your cams. Mine are a bit worn out.
