And who got permission from the USFS to fix chains on Twinkie?
shh!

are you saying that you'd rather have those time-bombs still up there? somebody would have been killed by now
No, I am saying, as I have before in the other thread, that I don't ever remember there being fixed draws on these routes. Then with a little research found that there were apparently no fixed draws there as little as five years ago. I would rather not see fixed draws there, thus no worry about time-bomb biners or potential accidents caused by the same.

PS - Spot on regarding the spray KD.

Ya either that or I was just trying to help look out for my fellow climbers. I also made this post in case the person who wants their Omega back knows where it's at. Believe what you will. Besides since when was it a secret that I was projecting Twinkie?

I almost regret making this topic because I would hate to see that fixed gear taken down, but if it's against the rules and pisses off the forest service so be it. I don't regret making this topic though because I think people should be aware of the biner wear that I specified in my first post.

So are you allowed to just have draws hanging from it like what Phantasia has on it right now, as in does fixed gear only refer to quicklinks, chains and what not?
