cut under toe

Post by louisville_climber »

Alright, I have somehow managed to get a cut in one of the most inconvenient places possible... on the bottom of my toe. Now, when I say that, I mean a slice through the skin on the connecting part of the toe, not the actual foot or pad. It hurts a little bit but I'm worried about it healing proper. I'm on my feet all night at work, this is a problem. I have it bandaged with neosporin, but I need a more permanent solution, especially since I am climbing this weekend. I was thinking of keeping it closed with super glue. Any thoughts/tips/experience? Thanks.

look, I'm a nurse, so don't use superglue- that's just dumb. neosporin is the best solution. clean it real good with soap and water at bedtime make sure it's dry and put more neosporin on it...or just do yoga like pigsteak said ; )

a good cleaning, neopsorin and a bandage, then liquid bandage later seemed to work well.

glad to hear that you made it through! :) Liquid bandage always saves my life! When it comes to getting a cut on a place that really sucks for the sport you love, I am a pro!
