Ascenders and a sport rappelin' rack.

Post by jrathfon »

It seems I have gear to cave, wall, and jug for 2 if not 4 people, useful when none of my caving buddies owned their own gear, but the extra sets are useless to me now, and well I haven't stepped foot in a cave in about 5 years. So:

All of this is in excellent working condition, there's a bit of mud on these (that will wash off easily, but i'll let you do that and dry and re-lube them properly, i don't want that gear rusting on ya), but otherwise they are in great shape with low mileage. I inspected the teeth and they show little to no wear, just the typical annodization rub-off is all that is noticeable. There is not any appreciable wear in the bars on the rack, the indent in the picture is the manufacturer's indent, pressed into the bar. I have:

one left "yellow" petzl ascender $40 (MSRP $70)
one right "blue" petzl ascender $40 (MSRP $70)
one right black petzl ascender (identical to blue, for covert ops and such) $40 (MSRP $70)
one yellow petzl croll (chest ascender) $30 (MSRP $57)
one ALL stainless steel SMC J-shaped rappel rack with hyper bar $75 (MSRP $130)

also at home but not pictured: 3 first generation jumars (grey, plastic stopper, but no trigger lock) and 1 2nd gen. jumar (yellow, w/ plastic trigger lock), these are a bit rare, so name your price.

Buyer pays shipping or I can drop off in Louisville/Lexington/Miguel's.

You might want to delete those photos and resize them. Nice view of some ugly carpet though!

I live in Germantown. PM me if you'd like to talk specifics. I also frequent RockSport often, like tonight. Thanks

I'd like to pick up that left hand ascender, if no one has laid claim to it yet...

I got the black right handed ascender (with a low-ball offer), the croll, and the rack left (unless tandemrotor is grabbing it).

Scratch that, a buyer backed out. Louisville_climber, I can sell you the yellow ascender.
