Looks cool Larry! Will definitely give it a shot next time I'm out there... I'm thinking Insanity Ceiling may be a more "tame" roof to take on first though, no?

Yep, it makes sense to do Insanity first. The moves are harder but it's probably safer than Tower of Power. The big challenge on Tower of Power, in the old days, was protection. Today, probably not so much.

I'm loving the conversation and will contribute spray when I have some.... but I think these are a private album. Larry, could you make the album public?

My bit of spray: the bushwack to and from The Dome is not worth the hike if you don't bring BIG cams.

jrathfon - Are you on Facebook? If so, send me a "friends" request for access.
I would like to make the photos more easily accessible. What do you think, is Photobucket the way to go?

So long as you keep them on your Facebook account also (please)... I like the format as opposed to the photo-dump sites. Just my opinion. And I really like the descriptions you write. Very cool to get the history and know what you guys were thinking at the time when you did 'em. I don't feel that I have been near as bold with the stuff I'm putting up, but then my opinion may change in a few years.

I'm psyched to give Through the Looking Glass a good onsight burn in the next few weeks, Russ... also we should get out there and try that finger crack to the left sometime this fall. It is pretty bitchin...

Definitely choss. I enjoyed choss climbing before I discovered sport climbing. I'm sure your memories are about more than the quality of the route, because it doesn't even make it into the top 10% of RRG crack climbs. Soft, deteriorating rock, one cool move at the top, and a good view that can be had from a better route, like Cavers. Not recommended unless you're a history hound.

Dustonian... Can't wait to hear how Through the Looking Glass goes; glad to see someone interested in it! As for the finger crack left, it does look cool but it doesn't protect well enough for me (and I've climbed over some sketchy pieces). Especially since hearing of the guy who blew last year (or this past Spring?) and messed up his ankle on the ledge. I got enough injury issues... lol! We'll hook up this Fall with Kipp and drag his butt up something with gear!
