When that article first came out it felt weird to be reading something so personal in a mainstream magazine. The honesty in that article was startling but also really good.
He's been through some wild dark times.

What a nightmare. Avoid the medication, beat the demons back with exercise and counseling. ...... and ...... um... a lot of coffee.
....with every step he takes ... every move he makes....
odds are he won't live to see tomorrow.

Tough read, especially if you've ever lived through even a fraction of similar difficulties as Matt has. Psych health is everything folks, it can make or break your physical body and your climbing efforts.
