Diaphoresis

Post by DHB »

I seem to be under the impression that my hands sweat more than most people's. I use chalk like it's cocaine.

I'm starting to become more aware of how my chalk abuse habits affect both the walls and my wallet, so I've started looking into some kind of antiperspirant for your hands.

Does anyone else do this? I've seen special stuff you can put on your hands, but can't I just rub some Degree on my palms?

Liquid Chalk as a base layer. Some "professionals" have been known to take medication that inhibits water-based only sweat glands (like the one in your hands). But that is def. not recommended. That was more to let you know people do that, and when you finally discover it, I would think twice before thinking it's a good idea.

I have anxiety disorder and it makes my palms pretty sweaty sometimes... Lots of chalk and slow breathing help keep things in check.

For years I have been using Right Guard Sports antiperspirant (uncented) on my hands in the summer. It does work well - just don't put it on too heavily as it gets sticky.

Botox works if you can afford it.

Who said anything about wrinkles? This is about reducing sweat gland activity.
