These guys nailed it.
Stellar route, super smooth climbing by Simone.
Slick as snot camera work by Sean.
Good video of Cell Block Six.
I watched that just recently. I did a search on Vimeo for Red River Gorge climbing:

"It is difficult to estimate the potential damage of solvents; therefore the middle of the rope should never be marked with a felt-tip pen or similar. Although a danger might be improbable, it should never be ignored." Mammut
wow...that was a great video. bcombs is right...Rick gave me a dozen of those for temporary placements while bolting cause the wall was soooo steep. They were supposed to be removed when I finished, but for the life of me I couldn't get them out. If someone ever finangles them out, they belong to Rick. I think I ended up leaving 8 of them on the wall..sorry Rick.
I actually think they would hold falls.

Positive vibes brah...positive vibes.
Were they something like this?

we used them as temp. fall protection on construction sites where you drill a hole in a concrete wall and stick these in, then you clip your lanyard to it. they work like cams and should be easy to remove as long as you didn't bury them up to the hilt. It's a major design flaw that they can walk back into the hole so far that you can't get our fingers around the plunger to loosen them up.
