The menu looks fantastic... and a nice microbrew always goes down well after climbing!

My 2cents....offer a dirtbag menu for all the cheap asses who visit and would like to spend a few bucks once in a while. But psyched to have another option in the gorge otherwise!!!!

I like having the more upscale stuff too and I don't mind paying for it. That being said I agree with the idea that lots of people climbing at the Red are broke, so having some cheaper stuff will be a good business model for sure.
($5.00 menu section or something)

Glad you are here!

I would actually argue that the vast majority of the people climbing at the red are not broke. Most climbers are not struggling so bad that they can't buy a meal out on a weekend. I'm all for affordable food when eating out but i think we have a messed up view of what real food actually costs to grow, deliver, process and cook.
They ain't opening a McDonalds.

I'm with sendit... I don't mind coming off a buck for some good food while at the red. I get the breakfast at true north cuz it is awesome to have a good breakfast with no effort while down. An alternative to miguels is welcome... they could probably stay busy just as an overflow for miguels..

word of advice... don't kill us on the beer pricing... you'll make more in the long run.
And on the third day, God created the Red River Gorge(by conjecture), and he saw that it was good.

broke kids have mom and dad's credit cards, and the majority of us are working stiffs....have a rule, no cell phones inside, no laptops, etc...and people will love you.
Positive vibes brah...positive vibes.
