Kentucky tourism site
Radio ads for www.getoutKY.com Went there and front page has a RRG climbing model front and center for their tourism main attraction. Anybody know who she is? Congrats on snagging that deal for a future resume.

the following:
KY state is now promoting rock climbing on the KY tourism website. That is great. The RRG was voted best Sandstone in Rock & Ice, 2008, Jan p. 48. The natural beauty of the formations here are in many ways unsurpassed. Climbing is an increasingly popular national pass time as evidence by its presence in many advertisements for everything from mutual funds to viagra.
• Rock climbing is a resource that KY needs to exploit the same way that NV, WY, CO, CA, NC, SD, ID, OR and WA exploit it. The hypocritical and ironic aspect of this is that climbing is prohibited on KY state park land.

here is my letter to Caribes link.
I am a lifelong resident of central and eastern Ky. I am encouraged to see the state finally recognizing and embracing the potential for tourism that rock climbing brings to the Powell, Wolfe, and Menifee Counties. As you know, the Red River Gorge and surrounding areas is recognized world wide as one of the preeminent destinations for rock climbing, drawing tens of thousands of visitors from around the world annually. I think it is now time for the State Parks system to recognize this too and welcome rock climbers into the parks. Within the Natural Bridge State parks resides some of the best cliffs for climbing, but due to old and outdated misunderstandings of Natural Bridge State Park, climbing has been black listed from the park property. Please revisit this and correct this over site and embrace this huge potential visitor group.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if I may be of any assistance in this regard.
