I can't wait to pull out all my old torn up RRG guidebooks and consolidate all the check marks! Sweet!

i got it too... notice a few things messed up so far.

if you click on routes 1 thru 19 in solar collector it takes you to the wrong route description (off by one)

don't know if it's supposed to be like this but in the motherlode for example... the topo only covers routes 1-25 so if you go to the route description of any of the other climbs in the area you are looking at a topo that doesn't contain that route.
And on the third day, God created the Red River Gorge(by conjecture), and he saw that it was good.

the app is sweet for sure, I really like the log feature for remembering microbeta. No more Alzheimer on-sites though

Good catches Rollo. We are aware of the Solar Collector glitch, and will release a free update in few weeks that corrects it.

soooo... i have some more things that either are glitches or are the way you wanted them but i don't like.

Wall of Denial - Topo not interactive.

The Boneyard - number sequencing off in relation to route/picture reference. (i.e. when you click on #5, Captain Blondie, you see a picture that says 5 but the top of the page says it's #17)

Solar Collector - 24-44 topo only. 38 seems to be missing from that topo. all other routes (1-23 and 45-51) have a link to the topo in their route description even though they are not included in the topo.

What About Bob Wall - numbering sequence out of whack again like the boneyard... so #8 shows as #21 at top of route description. the topo only shows 8-29 yet 1-7 have a link to the unuseable topo in their route description.

the Unload - route 1 shows as route "3 of 3" at the top... and vice versa

chica bonita - topo is only for 3-28 but all other routes also have a link to the topo that does not contain them in thier route description.

motherload - same topo issue (only has 1-27)

gallery - same topo issue (only has 3-18 )

speaking of topos... it would be nice if there were more topos for muir valley. the only two available are for deBib and persepolis (of all the crags!)

thanks.

My wife brought up a good point...multiple ticklists would be great. Would be great especially if it gets linked to the database, here.
Sure is a lot of fun while you're doing it...

Hey Rollo -
Thanks for the feeback. This stuff is really useful to us in continually improving the app platform. One of the great things about the app is we can release free updates. Look for one soon that addresses some of the things you brought up.
Specifically:

<b>Wall of Denial - Topo not interactive.</b>
Our mistake. I fixed this for our next free update.

<b>The Boneyard - number sequencing off in relation to route/picture reference. (i.e. when you click on #5, Captain Blondie, you see a picture that says 5 but the top of the page says it's #17)</b>
That's a result of the Boneyard routes not being numbered from left to right in the print guidebook – but needing to scroll left to right in the app. Captain Blondie's number is 5 in the guidebook but its order is 17 (17th route from the left). We will look at changing the number to the top of the page to the route number not the route's left-to-right order in a new release.

<b>Solar Collector - 24-44 topo only. 38 seems to be missing from that topo. all other routes (1-23 and 45-51) have a link to the topo in their route description even though they are not included in the topo.</b>
That's the same as the print guidebook. It sometimes doesn't work to put all the route number bubbles on and printed topo as they are packed so close together. I updated the route bubbles for the next edition of the app. The missing numbers at the right of the Gold Coast are new routes. I've updated these in the topo for the next edition of the app and guidebook. If anywhere in the app or printed guidebook a route bubble, say 15, is missing from a topo, it's safe to assume it is between 14 and 16!

<b>What About Bob Wall - numbering sequence out of whack again like the boneyard... so #8 shows as #21 at top of route description. the topo only shows 8-29 yet 1-7 have a link to the unuseable topo in their route description.</b>
Ditto Boneyard above.

<b>the Unload - route 1 shows as route "3 of 3" at the top... and vice versa</b>
Ditto Boneyard above.

<b>chica bonita - topo is only for 3-28 but all other routes also have a link to the topo that does not contain them in thier route description.</b>
A wall can currently only have one topo map, which then applies to the whole wall. We can look at ways to improve this in a future updates.

<b>motherload - same topo issue (only has 1-27)</b>
Ditto Chica Bonita above.

<b>gallery - same topo issue (only has 3-18 )</b>
Ditto Chica Bonita above

<b>speaking of topos... it would be nice if there were more topos for muir valley. the only two available are for deBib and persepolis (of all the crags!)</b>
That's the same as the upcoming print guidebook. We'll look at providing more topos for big and/or complex walls. The Boneyard could use one! For some cliffs, a topo really doesn't add any information not already given in the route descriptions and photographs and that's why we chose not to go the extra work of creating overview topos for those walls.

yeah i kinda thought the left to right thing was the problem in the route numbering scenario. would be nice if they sync up but i guess not totally imperative. it could be confusing to alot of users though.

i understand about the limited availability of topos. it would be nice if the individual route descriptions at the crags i pointed out did not have a link to the topo of that area if they are not contained within the topo. it is misleading to the user when they are looking at a route, scroll down and see a topo link, press the link, only to find there is no information on that topo that pertains to the route they are looking at. if the topo link could be deleted from the route description there would be no mistake.

thanks alot for looking into the concerns of the user and doing something about it!

i'm just trying to help out... not tear down the app. this app guidebook is really slick and fully updateable. i give the creators props for sure.

I think the app is fantastic. One thing I do miss is the weather and style metadata for each route...ie stays dry in downpour or crimps or whatnot. Any chance to add that in or was it left out to keep things cleaner?

Thanks!

I was missing this as well. Working these aspects of a route into the search function would be cool too.
