This is the reason why I expound the benifits of T/R'ing. It's good for the soul. It keeps you humble. There is nothing to brag about when you T/R. You have to keep it a secret. No one thinks it is legitimate. Only the moves count. There are no bragging rights with T/R.
Sure, hanging the draws does make some routes harder. But so does doing a route without chalk, or without shoes, or hungover, or on a humid day, etc. etc.
It's all about what has become accepted in the area you're climbing at.
