Starting out climbing in the Red in July..........well, you should be an animal by fall climbing in the heat of the summer!

And like a bunch of the others said........don't screw Miguel out of camping, karma will get you if not the man.

Have fun

we haven't missed a single weekend getting out all winter..."snow" is a poor excuse when the walls are so steep.

Spent 2 summers at miggys. My favorite time to be there. Better than the fall because you don't have to freeze your ass off and the days are longer. I think the crowd is better as well. Instead of euro douche bags in capris, its a more well rounded crowd chasing a good time. That being said, your going to sweat. A lot.

But i think you are on the wrong track here. Being a dirtbag sucks. Its fun for a little while, then you realize you are chasing arbitrary numbers while living in third world conditions and drinking malt liquor.

Just be prepared for rock climbing to be the ONLY thing you do. You won't be able to afford a decent beer, you probably won't have a conversation that doesnt involve draws and saftey meetings and you can most certainly forget about getting laid. My adivice to you: surfing. Sun, Bikini Clad ladies and sex on the beach.

why have this?

anyone want to buy my rope and draws?

And on an unrelated note, anyone know where I can get a surf board and a cheap ticket to cali?
Can't we all just get along?

climbing is for dudes afraid of chicks..they insulate themselves with their pretend "lifestyle" nonsense, like it is some grand journey of the soul....yawm, get a job and be a weekend warrior. you'll contribute something meaningful to society, and probably climb better in the end.
