Sounds crazy, but if there is an NBA strike we could see some familiar faces in blue jerseys next year that everyone thinks are NBA lottery picks. Long shot, but we'll see.

5 in the first round, nice work. Now we'll see what Calipari is made of. Rebuilding from scratch each and every year. He has his work cut out for him.

I can't think of better recruitment publicity for the one and done kids than last nights draft. UK Wildcats: The NBAs #1 farm team.

Yeah, great for recruitment, won't argue that. But if you can't even get to a final four with an entire 1st round NBA starting lineup......Says a lot of positive things for Calipari as a recruiter, but I think it says more negative about his coaching abilities.

If you want to judge success by number of players drafted,C-USA had 4 players drafted, which is as many as the Big Ten, Pac 10 and Atlantic 10 combined. Does that mean the quality of C-USA basketball is better? Not by a long shot.

I have never liked the idea of being a stepping stone to the NBA. I don't like the strength of our team lying in the recruitment class. I would rather see great freshman prospects that can contribute straight out of highschool, but the leadership coming from the juniors and seniors. There's nothing wrong with an occassional one and done, but I do not want our team to leave every year...
Sure is a lot of fun while you're doing it...
