Another case in point, Torrent Falls. Access issues, Predident of the CC purchases it. Keeps it closed, then errects a gate. Opens it to the Kool Kids Klimbers club. I bet you and every member of the board has a permanent access code to torrent while it is closed to the constituancy. Look, its Bobs land, he can do with it what he pleases. It looks elitist to shut it down for everyone but the Kool Kids and then say that you are the president of the climbers coalition who is dedicated to preserving access.
yeah bob gets alot of shit for sticking his neck out....

Nobody said anything about hate. As far as Meadows challenge. You're on. You can say that what I put together is an unauthorized event and that the CC in no way endorses or agrees with what I'm doing. I'm sure you can get one of the lawyer types to issue some sort of statement.

A great quote I've heard ...

Don't tell me what you're gonna do. Tell me what you've done.

Once you hold your fundraiser, contact me as I am the standing treasurer.

Great idea on the gate! Very cool. It'll be like walking through the pearly gates into a wonderland of killer climbing.

Way to go on raising money for keeping these crags open, RRGCC board folks! Your efforts are huge and much appreciated by the vast majority of us. Best to ignore the occasional dimwitted asswipe (or the one, rather) that doesn't feel this way.

Sorry, did I say dimwitted asswipe? I mean to say something more specific like sniveling ingrate.

$50 buck....All you gotta do is step up to the plate....Do I hear anybody else willing to kick this to see it happening...? I won't be easy like your mommy was. I'll be hard, real hard. Its gonna hurt too. Not like that emo shit you pulled in high school. I mean real pain.

You could auction off that cabin that's given you so much trouble, all proceeds going to purchase the PMRP, or even rent it out for a donation. Or you could shuttle people up and down the Motherlode hill in your f-350 ( that you're "not afraid to use") every weekend during spring break season, and take donations for that.
