The wall currently has six sport climbs on it, and one more will be added soon. The climbs range from 5.7ish to 5.9ish, are vertical, and are between 25 and 45 feet height. The wall was developed for beginners and groups, so hopefully it will help alleviate pressure on Bruisebrothers and Practice Wall.
To access the wall, go to the Practice Wall and continue the last climbs on the right. Near the top of the hill is an obvious trail branching off right. Follow this down and around a small waterfall. This trail ends at the base of a short rebar ladder providing access to the top of a large ledge. Routes #1-4 are on this ledge; 5-6 are on the lower level. From left to right (starting with route #1, the grades are: 5.7, 5.8, 5.7, 5.7, 5.8, 5.9.
The trail needs some work, and route #6 still needs some cleaning, but otherwise the wall is open and ready. I will be down the first weekend of April to finish this.
More specific information will be posted in the online guidebook sometime soon.
Enjoy!

i saw these a few months ago. they might take away some of the traffic from the other walls but the base isn't big enough for noobs to spread their crap out over. while you're over there any chance you'll fix and open up those two new lines at Practice wall heacocis?
Sand inhibits the production of toughtosterone, so get it out and send.
yes, I haven't forgotten about the two harder routes. I want to get this new wall all fixed up first for the upcoming spring rush, then the next thing I'll do is open those two routes. I promise. And I do definitely need to move the anchor down on Sheet Rock. On top of the current location changing the flow and perhaps grade of the climb, the entire climb stays dry in a heavy rain except the last move.

A couple weeks ago, heacosis and a group of kind volunteers from IU improved the access trail significantly to this area and enlarged the base. I'll be further expanding the base and finishing the staircasing access to the top tier over the next few weeks.pawilkes wrote:i saw these a few months ago. they might take away some of the traffic from the other walls but the base isn't big enough for noobs to spread their crap out over...
Anyone want to help out?
