Hi, I might be able to meet you. I'm in a similar situation -- want to climb the Red but my regular partner can't make the trip. I'd be driving down from NJ after returning from Colorado on April 5, so I probably won't be able to get there until the 6th or 7th.

I'm a strong leader and can definitely assess your placements, systems etc. if you want, but I only lead 5.7 -- hoping to try some 8s at the Red. I can follow up to 5.9.

If interested in discussing this, just drop me a line. : )

I could be down for a day of trad, and if I'm not free when you're here I know some other folks who would be into doing some cracks with you. Send a PM.

Did you ring?

Strong as in I'm safe with the gear and have good systems, not strong as in I can monkey up 5.10s with just my pinkies.

Hope your head feels better!

Always a good plan.

I looked at some of your other posts because I thought you might be someone I knew. You're a very good speller. You should be proud.
