Looking for climb partner in Cincinnati area

Post by houslele »

Hey everyone,

I'm kind of new to climbing, I started this past summer. I don't really know anyone who climbs and I'm looking for some poeople to climb with in the Cincinnati area. I usually go to Rockquest. I'm interested in bouldering and sport climbing. I'm planning on learning to lead climb soon and heading out to the red as often as possible this spring/summer. Looking for anyone in need of a partner.

I climb at climb time, you can join me. I will be there tonight, probably after 6:00 or 7:00. Look for a tall guy.

Since you are a student at the Univ. of Cincinnati you might want to go to a UC Mountaineering Club meeting, Wednesdays 7pm, 525 Old Chem.

Yeah I've thought about that but I'm going to be graduating soon so I kinda thought it might be kinda late in school year and my college career in general to join a club.

Joining a club sounds queer, anyway the Climb time sending club meets tonight at eight. Be prepared to crush or we kick you out.

You don't need to pay dues to attend a meeting, only to check out gear. There are a few UCMC members who climb at RockQuest.

New Climber

Desperately wanting to get into climbing, but I know absolutely know no one who climbs in my area. I've been searching for people around Northern Kentucky who make climbing trips down to the Gorge. I've been to Climb Time a few times, but really want to find a group that goes on trips. Do you know of any local groups that meet in Northern Kentucky?
