As land owners you have more rights than the oil company. However you do have to give them access to the oil wells if they own the mineral rights. They being the oil company must maintain the access to the wells on your land.

No one said anything about a pissing contest with the oil companies. I was simply stating the facts. I as well am not wanting to argue about the subject nor did I ask for your advice. I asked for ideas and thoughts as to what things the climbers would want or would like to see in the area.
