I stand corrected on my angle then...my wall is only slighly steeepr than ray's 15 degree.....old age has a way of making the glory days even better, the routes way sicker than orignally thought, and slabs turn into steep jug hauls. my bad....

Mine could be 20 now that I think about it. Regardless I think less than 30 is still an important angle since you can use really sick holds to build finger strength on. Cactus boy isn't making any sense on this one.

17.5? And I love good problems at that angle.

its all about using those same sick holds on the steeper angles...use the fingerboard for finger strength and then take that to the steep and build your power on the bad holds...idk if that makes any since, because having lock off ability without the ability to lock off bad hold is almost useless...and the only way to get the ability of locking off bad holds is to train them together not seperate...i just feel steeper is better for getting stronger faster

Gym climbing? So cool! I love that shit. The dirty nacho smell not to mention choking on chalk. The sweaty spots by shirtless guys yelling,"Stick IT!" . The mindless "music" bumping out of the boom box. Sounds Fun....

Its worse at EKU because there are forty or fifty non-climbers watching you flail, while top forty crap is put on repeat.
