My feet are slipping less when I'm tired because my core is becoming as strong as a boa constrictor. As a matter of fact please call me BOA from now on. Thanks.the lurkist wrote:so SCIN, hows that Ab Ripper X working for you?

Agreed, weakened core and fatigue is the real reason for a lot of my redpoint failures. When I added cardio specific my fatigue went down, but my feet still 'slipped' a lot. This year I added core specific to the mix (which I hate, but I love, lol)...
And I thought it was just us old, outta-shape climbers that were getting schooled by the Ab Ripper... I can barely do half the reps and my form is so bad that half of those shouldn't even count.
Hmmm... BOA is the new SCIN, then ______ is the new Pigsteak...

Usually feet slipping is a mental thing, general exhaustion. I get tired, get worried, and I start pawing my way up routes instead of keeping cool and really placing my feet.
Keep the happy thoughts flowing and the feet stay on till everything else fails.
