I blame all my failures on SCIN.

My feet are slipping less when I'm tired because my core is becoming as strong as a boa constrictor. As a matter of fact please call me BOA from now on. Thanks.

Actually I can't get through freakin' 5 minutes of it without taking a break. That shit is hard man!

There isn't any friction slab at the Red to speak of, but I have definitely been unable to make moves due to my feet slipping on hard slab routes at places like looking glass, where the climbing is heavily friction dependent and the foot holds are often polished.

Agreed, weakened core and fatigue is the real reason for a lot of my redpoint failures. When I added cardio specific my fatigue went down, but my feet still 'slipped' a lot. This year I added core specific to the mix (which I hate, but I love, lol)...

And I thought it was just us old, outta-shape climbers that were getting schooled by the Ab Ripper... I can barely do half the reps and my form is so bad that half of those shouldn't even count.

Hmmm... BOA is the new SCIN, then ______ is the new Pigsteak...

Your foot slipping would be the reason you come off the route. Weak/fatigued core would be the reason your foot slipped.

Usually feet slipping is a mental thing, general exhaustion. I get tired, get worried, and I start pawing my way up routes instead of keeping cool and really placing my feet.

Keep the happy thoughts flowing and the feet stay on till everything else fails.
