pictures for fun. :)
There are only two sizes to the Petzl full body harness. I have seen some pretty big dudes in them, so I would guess they were wearing Size 2 and you need a size 1. Unless you are trying out for the next season of biggest loser that is.
And, yeah... what is up with digging up this old thread? I actually went looking for the pics mentioned in the original post. I would have been clicking next until tomorrow.

lol, with my luck it wont be that way. i am 35 wks, and just stopped climbing a few weeks ago cause i dont want to go into labor in the red, lol. @brandy- if you go for the petzel it makes a great way to keep climbing into your more pregger months. I was able to wear my reg. harness until i wasnt comfortable in it anymore (somewhere around month 5), but i did find it was awkward to rap and belay in the chest harness. Could just be cause my center of gravity was off stick with it tho! and be safe for you and the baby

...but I still got some answers! Thanks very much guys.
Actually, I already have a kid! My son is 4 1/2 years old. I started climbing 2 years ago at the insistence of a girlfriend and I feel in love the very first time. I have climbed non-stop ever since. I got my husband and son into it too, although it is still "my thing". Luckily I have a husband who is very supportive. He picks our son up and I hit the rock gym twice a week. I am still climbing 5.11's but I'm not sure how much longer that will last! I have all intentions of picking climbing up as soon as I can, although I'm sure it will be more difficult!
A climber with a kid came to the area but then she left again. Another climber just had a baby so I hope that we can all climb together someday!
I always feel bad bringing my rambunctious little boy out to the gym and rocks, but he does enjoy bouldering! We have a bouldering room we have started building in the attic and he's pretty good actually! I hope we'll get the room finished before the baby is born so I can enjoy it fully during my maternity leave!
