There are only two sizes to the Petzl full body harness. I have seen some pretty big dudes in them, so I would guess they were wearing Size 2 and you need a size 1. Unless you are trying out for the next season of biggest loser that is.

And, yeah... what is up with digging up this old thread? I actually went looking for the pics mentioned in the original post. I would have been clicking next until tomorrow.

This just goes to show what happens to your climbing when you have kids.

lol, with my luck it wont be that way. i am 35 wks, and just stopped climbing a few weeks ago cause i dont want to go into labor in the red, lol. @brandy- if you go for the petzel it makes a great way to keep climbing into your more pregger months. I was able to wear my reg. harness until i wasnt comfortable in it anymore (somewhere around month 5), but i did find it was awkward to rap and belay in the chest harness. Could just be cause my center of gravity was off ;) stick with it tho! and be safe for you and the baby :)

...but I still got some answers! :D Thanks very much guys.

Actually, I already have a kid! My son is 4 1/2 years old. I started climbing 2 years ago at the insistence of a girlfriend and I feel in love the very first time. I have climbed non-stop ever since. I got my husband and son into it too, although it is still "my thing". Luckily I have a husband who is very supportive. He picks our son up and I hit the rock gym twice a week. I am still climbing 5.11's but I'm not sure how much longer that will last! I have all intentions of picking climbing up as soon as I can, although I'm sure it will be more difficult!

A climber with a kid came to the area but then she left again. Another climber just had a baby so I hope that we can all climb together someday!

I always feel bad bringing my rambunctious little boy out to the gym and rocks, but he does enjoy bouldering! We have a bouldering room we have started building in the attic and he's pretty good actually! I hope we'll get the room finished before the baby is born so I can enjoy it fully during my maternity leave!
